PROTECTIVE COATINGS - INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS

From tank linings and insulation to earthen berm protection, HUNTER POWER ENERGY has industry-compliant containment and protective coating systems that stand up to the most extreme atmospheric exposures and caustic materials.

We understand that your primary and secondary containment demands are specific to the materials stored, whether the need is for chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, or fast turnaround.

Our impermeable linings and coatings are installed to address a wide array of corrosion and safety problems in the oil and gas industry, including spills, fires, and leaks that may contaminate the surrounding environment.

PRIMARY CONTAINMENT:

Industrial sprayed-on elastomeric polyurethane, polyurea, and hybrid solutions are 100% solids, VOC free, and designed for reducing primary containment maintenance costs and maximizing equipment return on investment. Industrial coatings can be sprayed or cast onto virtually any type of equipment and substrate material, regardless of penetrations or shape, whether new or already in service.

Hi-Chem formulations are designed specifically to be resistant to constant immersion as well as resistant to harsh chemicals. Industrial coatings are water, chemical, and acid-resistant and are capable of protecting your storage tanks from corrosion and rust.

Industrial coating products can be the ideal protective solution against spills, leaks, or hazardous material seeping into the surrounding environment.

PROVEN BENEFITS:

Products flex and expand with the substrate/s thermal coefficient of change, making them an ideal liner for petrochemical containment.

  • Holds up well against adverse chemistries, providing chemical-resistant primary containment for gasoline, JP3, diesel, crude oil, acid solutions, condensates, brine water, acids, hydroxides, solvents, peroxides, salts, lye, and various other harsh chemicals.
  • Reduces maintenance costs due to corrosion by providing a thick protective material that is resistant to chemicals, water, and acid.
  • Flexible formulations adhere to almost any substrate regardless of shape or size and can expand with thermal expansion/contraction changes.
  • A "wear indicator" can be applied beneath the lining so that coatings can be applied as a sacrificial layer over expensive steel and then economically reapplied when needed.
